- Settings → Battery → make sure Battery saver is off

- Remove Planner and Chrome from Sleeping apps and Deep sleeping apps
- Turn off Put unused apps to sleep

- Set Planner and Chrome to Allow background activity / Don't restrict
- Settings → Apps → Planner → Auto-launch / Allow auto start → on

- Do the same for Chrome

- iPhones only allow notifications for web apps added to the Home Screen — they never work in a normal Safari tab, or in Chrome on iPhone at all.
- Open Planner in Safari → Share button → Add to Home Screen
- Open Planner from that new Home Screen icon, then turn notifications on here
- Needs iOS 16.4 or newer
Still nothing after that? Use Send a test notification to this device above. If that one appears but real notifications don't, your phone is still holding them — tell the Admin.
